about

Inspired by a poem of Isadora Escossia, a close friend of mine. She gave me the permission to add some lines to it and turn it into a song.
To me personally it has become a song about the crumbling of old paradigms and the emerging of new ones. A song about hope and determination.

lyrics

Dusty Sunset

This must be the place
And above all the characteristics of the place
This must be the time
To be nowhere to be found

To light up all the candles and go around
To acknowledge the stones that each day has given us

And then throw it all back to where the flowers look like dust
Throw it all back to where the sunset looks like rust

There must be a way of slowing down the pace
This must be the mind that's always been so hard to find

Go light up all the candles and go around
Acknowledge the stones that each day has given us

And then throw it all back to where the flowers look like dust
Throw it all back to where the sunset looks like rust

This must be the place and above all, the characteristics of the place
